Job Description

The impact you’ll make

You will be responsible for managing and governing the Product Offering Architecture (POA) to ensure that product offerings are accurately defined, maintained, and executable across systems and processes.

What you’ll do

Key Responsibilities

POA Management & Governance

  • Own and manage the POA structure, standards, and lifecycle for assigned product portfolios.
  • Ensure POA accurately reflects approved product offerings, configurations, and dependencies.
  • Maintain alignment between POA, Product Management tools, and fulfillment systems.
  • Identify and resolve cross‑product POA issues that impact software licensing or execution.

SW‑Keying Ownership & Governance (Primary Focus)

  • Own and govern SW‑Keying structures and logic in alignment with POA definitions & licensing models.
  • Ensure provided SW‑Keys correctly represent software entitlements associated with product offerings and deals.
  • Maintain consistency and traceability between POA items, SW‑Keys, and sales documentation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SW‑Key‑related questions and clarifications.

POA Change & Release Management

  • Manage POA changes through established Change Control processes, including licensing impact.
  • Support POA release planning, validation, and communication.
  • Create and maintain POA‑related release documentation (change lists, release notes etc).
  • Ensure SW‑Keying updates are correctly implemented and communicated as part of POA releases.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

  • Serve as a POA and SW‑Key subject matter expert for Product Management and Operations teams.
  • Communicate POA and SW‑Key changes, impacts, and guidelines clearly to stakeholders.
  • Support audits, reviews, and compliance activities related to software licensing and entitlement

Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of Product Offering Architecture and product lifecycle management
  • Experience with software licensing models and SW‑Keying concept
  • High attention to detail and data integrity
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination skills
  • Ability to manage complex dependencies across products and systems

What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F or G depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
