    Qualifications

    • Valid Indiana teaching license in Mathematics required

    • Dual licensure preferred

    • Experience, knowledge, and/or certification in advanced programs such as AP, IB, or dual credit preferred

    • Interest in sponsoring or coaching extracurricular activities preferred

    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

    Job Goal:        

    • Implement and support the goals and objectives of the Mathematics Department curriculum across introductory through advanced levels

    • Provide effective instruction in individual, small group, and whole-group settings to support the success of all students

    • Uphold a standard of excellence within the Mathematics Department while contributing to program growth and supporting the development of the whole child

    Expectations:

    • Maintain high professional standards as a role model both inside and outside the classroom while supporting the mission and goals of the school and district

    • Utilize research-based instructional practices in both in-person and digital learning environments

    • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic integrity

    • Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, colleagues, administrators, and community stakeholders

    • Collaborate with colleagues across content areas to enhance student learning and achievement

    • Demonstrate strong organizational, instructional, and leadership skills

    • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
