Job Description:

Spectrum is seeking a highly motivated IT Technician to reside in our New York City office. Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Technician will have a working knowledge and experience of:

o Office 365
o Active Directory
o PC hardware, network printing VoIP phone systems
o Virtualization
o WAN/LAN/Cloud network technologies and infrastructure devices (i.e. Routers, Switches Firewalls, VPN, AP, etc.)

The successful individual will also need to be able to support/troubleshoot:

o Windows Server
o Apple laptop/desktop computers and devices (macOS and iOS)
o AV systems (office TVs, projectors, conference room systems, etc.)
o Adobe Creative Cloud products



Qualifications:

Qualified candidates are expected to have strong skills in solving complex technical problems, supporting a request ticketing system and managing/prioritizing workload and multiple support requests. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be detailed oriented with excellent customer service skills and showcase the ability to be a team player while working independently. Experience training users and providing limited user support after hours is required.

All applicants must have at least 2 years working in general IT and Helpdesk with at least 1-2 years’ experience supporting Window 7, 10 and Office products.
