ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:



Provides and ensures all guests with a successful experience during their stay while maintaining the integrity of the Lodge and the resort.




  • Greets and registers guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner; assessing needs

  • Perform cashier functions to include but not limited to: post of charges, make change, balance cashier drawers at end of shift, etc. 

  • Present statements to and collect payments from departing guests

  • Answer phone calls promptly, ensuring complete and accurate information

  • Completes all items listed on the Front Desk checklist for the appropriate shift

  • Follows established key control policy

  • Ensures proper credit policies are followed

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to make sure rooms are clean and ready for guest arrivals

  • Maintain Front Desk supplies

  • Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager

  • Make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests

  • Maintain open lines of communication with all employees within all departments

  • Provide solutions to problems for guests, associates and management

  • Assist with Group blocks and rooming lists

  • Assist in training new staff members

  • Ability to lift, bend, twist, stand and walk for long periods of time
