Position Summary:



The Trim Carpenter Assembly Associate assembles, finishes and installs all the wood trim, doors, mirrors and plumbing on units going into the boats. This must be accomplished by following the manufacturing specifications while working in a safe and organized work environment. We are looking for a dependable, personable individual who has the ability to work alone or with a team. Must have an eye for details and quality for carpentry work. Proficient experience with carpenter tools and other wood working tools is a must. Knowledge and ability to work with AC units and insulation.



 



Job Responsibilities:




  • With minimal supervision, assemble boat units per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions

  • Able to work with and understand the building process of assembling product together

  • Must be able to read and understand units of measure

  • Communicates the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader

  • Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, kneeling, lifting up to 40lbs, bending, using your hands and working with various materials

  • Must have basic computer knowledge and basic math skills

  • When asked, assists with training team members to develop job knowledge and improve performance

  • Maintain daily labor tracking records

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management
