You are great at:
  • Architecting and implementing enterprise Power BI solutions including data models, dashboards, and reports. 
  • Designing end-to-end BI frameworks covering data acquisition, transformation, modelling, and visualization. 
  • Collaborating with data engineers to ensure optimized Azure data pipelines using ADF, AAS, Synapse, and Dataflows. 
  • Building scalable and secure Power BI semantic models leveraging DAX, Power Query, and tabular modeling. 
  • Defining and enforcing data governance standards, including row-level and object-level security, data lineage, and access controls. 
  • Leading modernization of legacy BI platforms (e.g., SSRS, Crystal, Spotfire) into modern Power BI environments. 
  • Partnering with stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver intuitive, insightful visualizations and KPIs. 
  • Mentoring and guiding BI developers, ensuring best practices in performance tuning and dashboard optimization. 

What it takes: 
  • 10–15 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Data Architecture. 
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop, Service, Gateways, Dataflows, and Deployment Pipelines. 
  • Strong proficiency in data modelling (Star, Snowflake, Galaxy schemas) and DAX. 
  • Experience with Azure data ecosystem – ADF, Synapse, Data Lake, AAS, and Power Automate. 
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server, SSAS (tabular/multidimensional), and SSRS. 
  • Hands-on exposure to ETL/ELT, API integrations, and data connectors. 
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership abilities. 
  • Experience working in Agile environments and managing onshore–offshore delivery models.
