Elementary RAMP Summer School Specials Teachers - 2026
Summer School Music, PE, & Art Teachers - RAMP (2 teaching positions)
The program runs from June 29th to July 23rd, 2026, Monday-Thursday. Teacher's work day is 8:00 am to 1:00 p.m. There will be two mandatory 5 hour Professional Development days prior to the start of the session. The Professional Development days will be June 25th and 26th from 8:00 am-1:00 pm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and CT Educator Certification required.
Experience working with primary grade children required.
In depth knowledge of music, art, or physical education instruction required.
Must have the ability to design lessons based on foundational skills.
Must have a strong commitment to learning.
Responsibilities will include working with students while establishing routines, coordinating resources, developing lesson plans and activities that meet students needs.
STIPEND: $3,601.80 for entire session.

Consideration shall be given to those teachers who have expressed a desire to be transferred to a vacant position pursuant to Subsection A (2), above. The administration shall give careful consideration to internal applicants and shall guarantee said applicants an interview. Positions shall be posted for at least seven days internally before advertising externally.
