Manufacturing Warehouse Supervisor - 1st Shift 
Sunlite Plastics – Germantown, WI

 

Sunlite Plastics, a division of Diversatek, Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Warehouse Supervisor at our Germantown, Wisconsin manufacturing facility. We are a plastics extrusion company that provides custom tubing to medical markets. 

The Manufacturing Warehouse Supervisor will have general responsibility for production related functions in Blending/Compounding and Shipping/Receiving. 

 

Hourly Rate:

  • $27-$32 based on experience.

 

Reports To: 

  • Plant Manager 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct activities in Blending/Compounding and Shipping/Receiving.
  • Perform shop order releases.
  • Assess Manpower requirements for Blending/Compounding, and Shipping/Receiving.
  • Reviewing and submitting reorder forms for purchasing approval.
  • Schedule daily Blending/Compounding and Shipping/Receiving activities, as well as back-order evaluation. 
  • Ensure all safety regulations are followed.
  • Conduct personnel reviews.
  • Perform personnel training for Blending/Compounding and Shipping/Receiving (on the job, quality documentation, safety rules, etc.).
  • Initiate non-conformance reports for any quality system deficiencies. 
  • Set up and approve equipment and workstations. 
  • Enter completed Receivers into the ERP system.
  • Update the DNR spreadsheet throughout the month.
  • Maintain efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Ensure monthly cycle counts and inventory controls for all stock and non-stock inventory.
  • Follows all required ISO regulations as communicated through the Quality Management System.
  • Facilitate other projects, issues, and shortcomings as needed.
  • Regularly evaluate warehousing efficiency and consolidation of warehoused items.
  • Assist with month end closing counts and investigations.
  • Oversee scrap collection and sell.

Position Requirements: 

  • Advanced education/training or 5 years of equivalent experience.

Limits of Authority:

  • Hire/Fire authority regarding Warehouse, Blending & Compounding personnel.
  • Recommend salary adjustments for warehouse, Blending & Compounding personnel.
  • Implement appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with company policy.
  • Stop production of any blending/compounding products due to non-conformities.
  • Ensure all applicable procedures are enforced regarding ISO standards.
  • Perform as back up for all warehousing roles. 

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am – 4:30pm
