About the Department

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a human resource professional to serve the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA). The DMVA Human Resources (HR) Office is searching for a Classification / Selection Analyst to join their team in a collaborative, customer focused environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for classifying job duties and staffing vacant positions for assigned DMVA worksites which support the Michigan National Guard, Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency and the Michigan Veterans Homes. The ideal candidate for this position is a lifelong learner with a strong customer-service background, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in human resources and/or a degree in the field. Must work collaboratively with others and manage competing deadlines.
