Job Description

Your Tasks - What You can expect as Business Intelligence Consultant (f/m/d) - SAP BW / SAP Datasphere?


 



  • Data engineering & modeling: In this role, you design end-to-end data models, build robust data pipelines, and deliver high-quality data products for internal stakeholders.

  • Requirements & governance: You engage proactively with business owners to analyze needs for data transparency, gather and prioritize reporting requirements, and ensure all solutions are governed, accurate and actionable.

  • Insights & KPIs: Leveraging BI and process mining, you translate business processes into actionable insights and define KPI frameworks for efficiency, success, and stability.

  • S/4 migration: As part of our S/4 program, you support the transition from SAP BW 7.5 to SAP BDC / SAP Datasphere and help ensure a smooth go-live.

  • Digital transformation: Driving a data-driven culture, you align analytics solutions with business objectives in close collaboration with SAP and IT teams.

  • Stakeholder management: Together with SAP and IT Operations, you manage stakeholder expectations and deliver effective analytics and business solutions.


 


Your Profile - What do You bring as Business Intelligence Consultant (f/m/d) - SAP BW / SAP Datasphere?


 



  • Education: You bring a completed degree in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable field.

  • SAP expertise: 7+ years in data engineering are paired with strong hands-on SAP BW experience and 1–2 years working with SAP Datasphere (SAP BDC / Datasphere).

  • Modeling & integration: Strong semantic modeling skills and experience integrating data across SAP and non-SAP environments enable scalable analytics solutions.

  • BI & process mining: Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and/or Celonis enables you to turn data into actionable insights and meaningful KPI frameworks.

  • Transformation mindset: Fluent English communication and a proactive, data-driven mindset support digital transformation across SAP and IT.
