About the Department

The City of Marysville is accepting applications for a Seasonal Part-time Street Worker.

This seasonal position will work within the Streets Division of the Public Service Department. Work is generally 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. Work may be required evenings and/or weekends. The duration of employment will last approximately 19 weeks. 

Position Duties

Seasonal Streets workers will work directly with fulltime and part-time employees completing the following duties:

• Assisting with yard waste, brush, and leaf collection daily on assigned routes
• Operation of a small dump truck, skid loader, chipper, and mowers.
• Other duties as assigned by the Streets Division

Minimum Qualifications

• 17 years of age or older
• Valid Ohio Driver's license with a good driving record
• Responsible, mature, and safety conscious
• Able to work in extreme conditions (hot, dust, rain – within reason)
• Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 80 lbs.

Rate of pay is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
