We are looking for a compassionate in-home caregiver in Boone and Story County to join our growing team!
The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.
We’re hiring experienced caregivers who want consistent weekend hours without a full-week schedule.
💰 Pay: $18.00/hour
📅 Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM → Sunday 10:00 PM
📆 Requirement: 3 weekends per month
🚨 Not entry-level – we need caregivers who can confidently step in
You must have:
- Dementia care experience
- Confidence with safe transfers
- Strong reliability (weekends are critical coverage)

💙 What you’ll do:
- Provide hands-on care and companionship
- Support clients with dementia
- Assist with safe transfers and daily routines
- Be the steady, reliable presence families count on
- Provide support with personal care services, including bath assistance and grooming.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs.
- Keep accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Supportive and compassionate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Take pride in providing high quality care
- Pass drug test/background check
