The employee must possess a valid CA Clear Single Subject California teaching credential - Math and be willing to work with high school students of varying ability levels and with varying educational needs. Experience with Springs Charter Schools or other charter schools preferred. Prior independent study teaching experience is highly desirable.

* All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties.

Credit up to 5 years prior full time certificated teaching experience. Excludes experience with substitute teaching and student teaching. This position receives a $2,500 Math stipend.

The HCT will serve between 17- 20 students and will be in person two days at a regional Learning Center and will work virtually three days with responsibility for managing and teaching one single subject course, and one program-specific course online. The HCT acts as an ambassador of the school and is the main source of support and communication between the school and the family. The HCT will be working with 9-12th grade students of varying ability levels and with varying educational needs. Review the job description for more details.
