SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for attending the knife room window; issuing, receiving and properly accounting for all knife room supplies and equipment. Other duties include: keeping the knife room and all supplies and equipment in a neat, clean and organized manner; maintaining a safe work environment, following and enforcing all applicable safety policies; repairing knife room supplies and equipment as necessary; cycle inventory counts; load & unload parts for supply; Lift up to 50 lbs.

REQUIREMENTS:
 

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
 

Experience:

No previous experience required.
 

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of management. Ability to comprehend material.

Computer Skills:

Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Tyson required software.
 

Special Skills:

Ability to work independently; organizational skills and ability to perform job in an effective and efficient manner; strong people skills.
