What you will do
You will engage in cash reconciliation and financial controls, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and reliability across Klarna’s financial operations. This position involves driving month-end close activities, investigating complex variances, and maintaining audit-ready, SOX-compliant processes. You will collaborate closely with offshore teams, Finance, Operations, and Engineering to resolve discrepancies across systems, banks, and entities while continuously improving how reconciliation is performed. By identifying inefficiencies and introducing scalable solutions, you will help strengthen Klarna’s financial control environment and operational excellence.

Who you are
 • Degree in a numerate field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering
 • Experience in financial reconciliation, financial control, or similar analytical position
 • Strong understanding of financial processes, including month-end close and account reconciliation
 • Ability to investigate and resolve complex discrepancies across systems and data sources
 • Experience working with large datasets and using data to support decision-making
 • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
 • Working proficiency in verbal and written English

Awesome to have
 • Experience working in payments, fintech, banking, or e-commerce environments
 • Familiarity with with audit and compliance processes
 • Experience working with offshore or distributed teams
 • Knowledge of data analysis tools
 • Experience driving process improvements and automation initiatives
