Job Description

Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance is the largest, independently owned orthopedic specialty practice in the Kansas City metro area. We have over 50 medical providers practicing out of six locations. Each team focuses on the importance of customer service, communication, and caring for patients.

We're seeking a professional and caring individual to join our patient-centered orthopedic practice. This position will be located in our outpatient clinics.

Day shift Monday through Friday!

The successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A commitment to support our doctors and Physician Assistants in a competent and professional manner
  • A desire to contribute as a key player on a high-performing team-based environment
  • An ability to multitask and perform basic computer skills with an aptitude to learn and master practice related software

Our PCT's work closely alongside our award-winning, board certified physicians and physician assistants in our clinics. You’ll have the opportunity to learn sub-specialty orthopaedic skills and help our patients through the treatment process!

We welcome applications from a range of certified or licensed healthcare professionals. Such individuals include certified registered medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, and certified athletic trainers. Requirements include:

  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in a medical office setting
  • Computer literacy in an electronic medical record application
  • Experience with, suture removal, cast/splint applications and FMLA paperwork precertification of MRI, CT, and DME orders
  • Patient phone triage calls
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Positive and upbeat attitude and outstanding organizational skill
