The ideal candidate will have strong experience in at least one primary ServiceNow product area such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or similar modules, along with solid platform development skills and a strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and delivery excellence.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, ServiceNow, you will own the end‑to‑end solution build, ensuring every deliverable meets platform standards and best practices. You will guide development activities, mentor technical consultants and junior developers, and partner with Principal consultants to refine complex solutions. Beyond core ITSM, you will lead work on at least one additional product suite (ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, IRM, CSM, HRSD, SPM, or ESM) and translate intricate business needs into secure, scalable outcomes. Your deep platform expertise will influence platform‑wide implementations and drive consistent, high‑quality results across engagements.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Develop, configure, customize, and enhance ServiceNow applications based on business requirements and platform best practices.

  • Design and implement solutions in one primary ServiceNow product area such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or related modules.

  • Build and support workflows, flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, portals, workspaces, and integrations as needed.

  • Develop and optimize integrations using supported ServiceNow capabilities, APIs, and standard methods.

  • Translate approved requirements into scalable, supportable, and maintainable technical solutions.

  • Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.

  • Perform unit testing, support QA and UAT, and contribute to code reviews and overall quality.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to clarify requirements and support delivery.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage assigned priorities, and raise risks or blockers early.

  • Maintain technical documentation and stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 3 to 6 years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform in a developer or technical consultant role.

  • Strong hands-on experience in at least one ServiceNow product area such as ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or similar modules.

  • Solid experience in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript, Glide APIs, workflows, Flow Designer, and platform customization.

  • Good experience with integrations, REST APIs, imports, and automation capabilities within ServiceNow.

  • Experience building or supporting Service Portal, Workspace, UI Builder, or related user interface components is preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a dynamic project environment.

  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle principles and structured delivery methods.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively as part of a project team.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS are an advantage, though demonstrated hands-on capability is valued most.

Preferred Attributes
  • Strong ownership of assigned work and accountability for delivery quality.

  • Ability to understand business needs and convert them into practical technical solutions.

  • Strong attention to documentation, testing, and delivery discipline.

  • Willingness to learn new ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities over time.

  • Professional, collaborative, and delivery-focused approach.

Success Profile
A successful Technical Consultant in this role will be a strong hands-on builder who can independently deliver assigned technical work, contribute to solution quality, collaborate effectively with the wider delivery team, and bring strong depth in at least one primary ServiceNow product area.
