Area Sales Manager – Snack Brand (Chennai)
Role Summary
This role requires strong on-ground execution to build and scale sales channels from scratch. You will be responsible for driving sales, opening new outlets, and managing relationships across apartments, hotels, and retail stores in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire and onboard new sales channels:
Apartments and gated communities
Hotels, cafés, and small hospitality outlets
Local retail stores and distributors
Use existing network to generate immediate business
Drive repeat orders and maintain consistent sales flow
Ensure product availability and visibility at outlet level
Coordinate with warehouse for stock planning and dispatch
Visit warehouse regularly for stock checks and alignment
Track sales performance and take corrective action independently
Work Mode(Hybrid)
Field work is primary and mandatory
Warehouse visits required for stock coordination
Remote work limited to reporting and follow-ups
Requirements
Requirements
Experience in FMCG, food, or snack sales
Strong network in Chennai (apartments, hotels, retail)
Proven ability to open new accounts and close deals
Comfortable working in an early-stage brand environment
Expectations
Take full ownership of Chennai market
Act proactively and drive business without supervision
Build distribution and ensure steady sales growth
Handle both sales and basic operational coordination
