Position Summary:
New London Rehab and Care Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring quality resident care, and supporting nursing staff development. Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Nursing in managing nursing services and staff performance.

Support and mentor nursing staff to promote quality care and professional growth.

Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility policies and regulations.

Participate in quality assurance, infection control, and risk management programs.

Oversee staff scheduling, training, and orientation.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans.

Serve as a resource and clinical leader for nursing personnel.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut (required).

Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility.

Strong understanding of DPH and CMS regulations.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
