Hypertec is seeking an R&D Specialist to join our Research & Development team in Montreal, Québec. If you are motivated, collaborative, and aligned with our values, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Contributing:

  • Troubleshoot complex multidisciplinary technical issues;
  • Design and develop technical solutions through pre-production stages;
  • Execute rack-level hardware integration (CPU, GPU, thermal systems, power systems, etc.);
  • Conduct structured testing, technical analyses, and simulations;
  • Develop and optimize prototypes and laboratory test setups;
  • Draft detailed laboratory reports;
  • Document testing methodologies and results;
  • Collaborate closely with R&D Technician(s) during fabrication and testing;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory practices.

 

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent industry experience;
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in hardware integration or prototype development environments;
  • Experience with rack-level systems, CPU/GPU integration, or thermal management;
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS preferred);
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills;
  • Experience working in laboratory environments.
