Job Description

As a Group Accounting Intern, you will support the team in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, contributing to smooth group-level consolidation and audit preparation. Your role will help ease operational bottlenecks during the year-end closing process, support compliance with financial reporting standards, and enhance the accuracy and quality of data within financial systems. This internship offers valuable exposure to corporate accounting processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you will do

  • Support month-end closing by gathering inputs, tracking submissions, and ensuring data completeness in group reporting systems in line with IFRS and internal guidelines

  • Assist in preparing audit documentation, responding to audit requests, and identifying gaps in data or disclosures

  • Contribute to the review of quarterly financial submissions, performing checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency

  • Support Lucanet SmartNotes projects by mapping GL accounts to statutory line items and improving reporting accuracy

  • Collaborate with the team on process improvements to enhance efficiency, audit readiness, and reporting quality.


What you bring

  • Undergraduate in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

  • Possess a basic understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is an advantage, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic work environment

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
