Job Summary
Konrad Beverage Company is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Delivery Driver to deliver products to customer accounts safely and efficiently. This role ensures accurate product delivery, proper product rotation, and excellent customer service while maintaining company equipment and inventory. CDL-A license is required within one year of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load route trucks with full and partial pallets for efficient unloading
- Verify truckloads for correct products and package counts before leaving the warehouse
- Deliver products to assigned customer accounts according to scheduled routes
- Notify supervisors promptly if an account cannot be serviced as scheduled
- Rotate all products according to company and supplier policies to ensure freshness
- Remove out-of-code or near-expiration products and return them as required
- Stock, rotate, and maintain displays for company products
- Collaborate with retailers to secure additional displays and product placement opportunities
- Collect and sort empty kegs, cases, and other returnable items
- Maintain positive relationships with customers through professional service and communication
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately, including sales tickets and settlement sheets
- Report market changes, customer feedback, or product/equipment issues to supervisors
- Drive company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws and safety policies
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized
- Remain on assigned routes unless authorized to deviate by management
- Maintain a clean, company-approved uniform
- Attend required meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CDL-A license required within one year of employment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers and coworkers
