Job Title: Line Cook



Job Status: Part Time – Non-Exempt



Division: Chevy Chase Country Club



Primary Work Location: Chevy Chase Country Club



Reports To: Executive Chef/Sous Chef



Supervisory Responsibility: None



Position Summary                                                                                                                                 



Serves as a line cook for Chevy Chase Country Club banquet/catering. Responsibilities include the preparation of food in accordance with the established recipes and industry standards at the CCCC food and beverage department. 



Essential Job Duties                                                                                                                               




  • Prepares an extensive variety of cold and hot food items utilizing standardized recipes and portions foods as specified.

  • Maintains the integrity of CCCC by watching plate presentations, and keeping all recipes confidential.

  • Assists with set-up of kitchen before shift and tear down at end of shift.

  • Washes and cleans all utensils, preparation equipment and counters required for production in the pantry area.

  • Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition at all times.

  • Consistently complies with all state, local and agency laws/policies regarding the sale and disposition of alcoholic beverages. 

  • Assume other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Performs the job safely and in compliance with Park District policies, procedures, work and safety rules.

  • Supports and exhibits the established organizational values of respect, communication, integrity, innovation, recognition, continuous learning, fun, empowerment and people.

  • Work as scheduled.

  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
