What You’ll Do
The Financial Administrative Coordinator is a key member who ensures accurate financial transactions are being processed; and provides customer service and support for a wide variety of stakeholders. This individual performs daily, monthly and yearend reconciliations as well providing support for the bookstores.
How You’ll Succeed
- Assist with month end and year end closes.
- Analyze and process journal vouchers from all campuses.
- Balance bookstore transactions and deposits on a daily and monthly basis.
- Responsible for balancing all cashier deposits on a daily and monthly basis.
- Maintaining deposit spreadsheet to be used for monthly bank reconciliations.
- Process/distribute budget deficit reports as needed.
- Manage and balance accounts payable from the MBS system.
- Process Indiana Unemployment Claims.
- Balance the bookstore clearing accounts including Old Post, Jasper and ATC.
- Review and enter Gateway activity.
- Provides backup support for Accounts Payable.
- Process and reconcile cash for Bookstore refunds, buyback and other needs.
- Perform quarterly and annual audits of cash on hand.
- Process monthly, quarterly and yearly sales tax vouchers.
- Perform assigned reconciliations/projects.
- Provides administrative support for the VP of Finance and the Associate Vice President of Finance.
What We’re Looking For
- · Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration; or five years of relevant experience. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- · Knowledge of budgeting and financial system
- · Proficient on computer with Banner System, Lotus Notes and Microsoft
- · Excellent math skills
- · Very detailed oriented individual
- · Self-motivated, professional and highly dependable
