Job Description

Job Summary

Performs a range of straightforward assignments. Contributes to tasks or projects within a team, function, or work group. Practical working knowledge of a technical or specialty area. Exercises independent judgment in accordance with policies, procedures, techniques, relying on limited experience to plan and accomplish work. Works under a moderate level of supervision. To ensure scheduled passengers arrive at their destination promptly, safely, and efficiently.

Serves as Pilot-in-Command (or Second-in-Command, as assigned) on company operated aircraft in the transportation of Company-approved passengers and cargo. In addition to regular flying duties, responsibilities will include assigned collateral ground duties. Complying with company safety programs, policies, procedures and practices. Complying with Company policies and directives; Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations; public law; and any other applicable regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) of assigned trips.
  • Provides excellent customer service to passengers.
  • Handle and be discrete with personal and confidential information which would have immediate impact on passengers and/or the company if shared beyond its intended audience and relevant to company management.
  • Performs Preflight and Postflight inspections.
  • Being familiar with and following all FARs and company policies pertinent to assigned duties.
  • Possessing the required knowledge, skill and proficiency as required of the PIC.
  • Performs flight planning, aircraft pre-flight inspections and is knowledgeable in the company’s operating procedures.
  • Ensures the passenger travel needs are met.
  • Supervises fueling of the aircraft to ensure the quality and quantity of fuel meets FAA, AOM and aircraft operational requirements for the flight.
  • Ensures the condition and appearance of the aircraft interior and exterior are acceptable.
  • Ensures supplies are stocked on board the aircraft.
  • Responsible for reporting any safety issues,
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 1,500 hours minimum flight (total) time
  • 500 hours minimum flight time, Turbojet
  • Hold a valid and current Airline Transport Pilot License
  • Hold a type rating in aircraft to be flown.
  • Holds a valid aeronautical radiotelephone license
  • Holds a valid and current passport
  • Hold and maintain a valid FAA First Class medical certificate
  • English Proficient endorsement on FAA certificate.
  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

  • PIC in C-560XL+ and/or C-750+

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard.
