Material Control Systems is growing and looking to add to our administrative team!
This new role will be working under the corporate umbrella for the several locations we operate. This is an on-site role where the expectations are to be in the office for work performed.
During our time of growth, we have noticed a need to focus on the building of what is coming. This includes the need to have support for some of the day to day tasks while helping outline, develop and administer some new forms and reports for better efficiency.

Material Control Systems began with fabrication and small container management in the early 1990’s. It has since grown to be an ideal partner in our industry of container management. We now operate in 5 states with 13 locations. Job Summary:
Safety & HR Support Coordinator is accountable for administrative tasks and services to support the EHS Manager and HR Manager in daily operations. The Safety & HR Coordinator is responsible for efficient and effective communication practices using software programs associated with the company.
Duties/Responsibilities

- Perform routine administrative tasks related to training, timekeeping, and compliance.
- Assist with onboarding, including participation in interview processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report/resolve concerns with help from manager.
- Able to help where needed per managers request.
- Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and staff.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong attention to details, particularly related to compliance and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with adaptability to software programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and observational skills.
- Able to design and implement effective training tools.
- Able to learn, interpret and apply federal and state regulations as part of building comprehensive compliance programs.
Work environment
Work environment is primarily in a temperature-controlled office setting where the noise level is quiet to moderate. Some time will be spent in warehouse settings where the temperature is not controlled, and the noise level is moderate to loud.
Physical demands
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while working at a desk and on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at all times.
Ability to read, write, speak and hear in English.
Required education and experience
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Valid and insurable drivers license
Preferred experience
- Previous experience working in similar office settings
- Previous experience working with safety and employment
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must be eligible to prove ability to work legally in the United States.
