Job Description

TWG Loxton, the Australian operation of The Wine Group—one of the world’s largest wine companies—is located along the scenic River Murray. Our winery is a highly regarded production facility focused on producing and exporting wine globally.

With the 2026 Vintage season fast approaching, we’re looking for enthusiastic and hardworking – experienced Vintage Cellar Hands to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wine industry, whether you're new to the field or looking to build on existing skills.

Key Details:

  • Location: Loxton, Riverland
  • Start Date: Mid-January 2026
  • Duration: 10-12 weeks (seasonal role)

What You’ll Do: In this supervised role, you’ll assist with various cellar operations, including:

  • Grape receival, crushing, racking, blending and wine transfers
  • Operating key winery equipment
  • General cellar housekeeping duties

What We’re Looking For:

  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights
  • Motivated with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Shift-based availability across a rotating 3-shift roster (additional hours may be required)
  • All licences - Drivers, Forklift, HR/MR licence (would be amazing)

This position requires 6 months or more, working in a winery cellar

Essential Requirements:

  • Full working rights (Visa holders welcome; valid until end of April 2026)
  • Ability to follow instructions from Leading Hands and Supervisors
  • Adherence to Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and completion of all documentation accurately
