About the Role
We are seeking a professional, detail oriented and ambitious Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Human Resources team in Cayman. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, Cayman and BVI, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will primarily support recruitment across the Cayman and BVI jurisdictions. The role will work closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition colleagues in Cayman, Europe, and Asia to cultivate strong relationships with key business stakeholders and recruitment partners, ensuring a consistent and aligned recruitment approach globally.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist responsibilities will include developing talent pipelines, connecting with potential candidates, screening applications, and supporting hiring managers/partners whilst ensuring a positive candidate experience. Primary responsibilities include:
- Creating recruitment campaigns using social media, and publish job adverts on relevant platforms
- Sourcing qualified candidates through a blend of direct methods and sourcing channels
- Reporting of recruitment status, tracking metrics such as time to hire, time to fill and source of hire
- Building talent pipelines and developing creative recruitment solutions
- Managing communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience, always maintaining exceptional candidate care.
- Attending and conducting interviews as well as training and guiding hiring managers on interviewing techniques and best practice
- Demonstrating a commitment to diversity and inclusivity throughout the recruitment process
- Maintaining an awareness of market conditions, trends, and challenges
- Guiding and advising hiring managers through the recruitment process
- Completing candidate background checks
- Maintaining interview matrices and notes for all roles and tracking unsuccessful / disqualified candidates
- Liaising and managing relationships with external vendors such as third-party background check providers, recruitment software portals and preferred suppliers
- Growing and conserving a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Leveraging on-line recruiting resources; employee referrals; network referrals; etc. to identify and recruit “best in class” talent
- Fostering long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates Collaborate with the wider HR team on projects as required
EXPERIENCE
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- 5+ years' experience in a recruitment role, with knowledge of the legal, financial services, and information technology industries
- Demonstrated experience working with and knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites to include LinkedIn.
- Previous experience leveraging applicant or candidate management systems such as Jobvite
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders and delivering talent that meets business needs
- Demonstrated experience building and managing talent pipelines internationally
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong MS office skills particularly in relation to Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
