Job Description

1st Shift Mon- Fri 7:00 am- 3:30 pm

Position Summary:

The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to optimize efficiency, align resources, and ensure timely completion of production goals.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules and generate reporting.
  • Monitors daily production results and revises scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources.
  • Gathers data from internal teams to incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules.
  • Work on production job completions and be involved in inventory reconciliations and reporting.
  • Utilizes knowledge of production specifications, manufacturing processes, materials availability, and application of mathematical planning tools to develop a plan.
  • Monitors status of production results and prepares reports on results against plan.
  • Provides effective communication across cross-functional departments as it pertains to production flow.
  • Willingly modifies work schedule and duties to accommodate Company needs.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • May require successful completion of specific education, training, or certifications.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Minimum Education: High School diploma

Preferred Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree

Minimum Skills/Experience: 2 or more years of relevant experience. Decision-making, effective time management, and good communication skills, plus MS Office and a high degree of excel Spreadsheet competency.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Above plus 5 or more years of relevant experience and thorough knowledge of company manufacturing operations.
