Business Development Associate Job Summary
Business Development Associates play a key role in building strategic partnerships with Post-Acute and Long-Term Care facilities and identifying new business opportunities through strong, relationship-driven outreach. This role collaborates closely with the Business Development team, Provider Operations, and Clinical Support teams to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops a strong understanding of Oak Medical’s care model and how we add value to our Post Acute and Long-Term Care Communities.
- Builds relationships with current and future partners in your assigned territory and identify how Oak Medical can support their facility.
- Evaluates and identifies business opportunities in the market.
- Maintains business contacts with current and future partners through site visits, emails, phone calls, etc.
- Serves as a liaison between facility staff members and Oak Medical team members.
- Provides support/training for communication platform.
- Attends, sets up displays, and represents Oak Medical’s care model at vendor events.
- Partners with other members of the business development team in the creation and implementation of operational and strategic marketing.
- Reports progress to the director of business development during regular team check-ins.
- Demonstrates strong work ethic, organization, teamwork, and passion.
- Weekly travel within territory, averaging 10% overnight.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, healthcare, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience serving in a liaison or similar relationship-management role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of business management practices and core operational principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability and professionalism.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license

The Oak Medical corporate office, skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, independent living, inpatient rehab hospital, and inpatient psychiatric hospital environments.
