If so, this is your chance to join one of the world’s leading reinsurance companies and play a key role in shaping how our global organisation is structured and maintained.

We are offering a temporary one-year opportunity, as outlined below.

About the Role

As an HR Associate within our Global HR Organisational Management team, you will be at the heart of how Swiss Re manages its global workforce structure. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge HR systems, collaborate with diverse teams across the globe, and contribute to meaningful organisational processes—all from our vibrant Bratislava office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support organisational and position management activities, assisting team members in maintaining accurate and up-to-date global organisation and position structures

  • Maintain position- and organisation-related data in internal HR tools, ensuring data integrity and compliance with global guidelines

  • Interact with HR departments and business functions across the organisation, acting as a reliable point of contact for data and process queries

  • Perform data quality checks and coordinate corrections with the relevant HR teams to uphold the highest data standards

  • Support global personnel administration tasks and processes, contributing to smooth and efficient HR operations worldwide

  • Support the Team Lead in setting, reviewing, and continuously improving global processes

  • Contribute to team initiatives and projects as needed, bringing fresh ideas and a collaborative spirit

  • Provide cover for other teams and handle ad hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a can-do attitude

About the Team

You will be joining the HR Organisational Management team: a dedicated group of Associates and Specialists responsible for maintaining Swiss Re’s global organisation and position structure. The team serves as a global data maintenance governance function, overseeing reorganisations across Swiss Re, ensuring data is entered in accordance with global guidelines, and performing personnel administration tasks. The team also consults with the wider HR community and other business functions on the system implementation of reorganisations, making it a central and highly connected function within the organisation.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with HR teams across the globe, collaborate within a multinational team, deepen your knowledge of Swiss Re’s organisational management, gain valuable exposure in the local Bratislava office, and work with a range of HR systems.

About You

You are a proactive, reliable, and client-focused professional who brings both analytical rigour and strong interpersonal skills to everything you do. You handle sensitive information with discretion, communicate confidently across all levels of the organisation, and are energised by working in a fast-paced, international environment. You are eager to learn, grow, and make a tangible contribution to a global team.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Data management experience, preferably within HR, with a solid understanding of HR data structures and processes

  • Excellent communication skills in Slovak and English, enabling effective collaboration with global and diverse teams in a matrix environment

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, paired with high reliability, diligence, and a strong work ethic

  • A client-oriented mindset, focused on delivering high-quality service and solutions to internal and external stakeholders

Additional nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with SuccessFactors or a similar HR platform (e.g., SAP, Workday, PeopleSoft) to help optimise data management and reporting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with a passion for both individual contribution and teamwork

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment
