Job Summary:
Genesis
Consulting is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support the
project’s design, development, implementation, and production support for the Florida
Planning, Accounting, and Ledger Management (Florida PALM) Project. The
successful candidate will play a key role in testing and implementing
enterprise software solutions and data analytics platforms, ensuring system
integrity, performance, and alignment with business needs.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
· Perform system testing activities to validate that business,
functional, and technical requirements are met, ensuring delivery of a
high-quality ERP system to the Department.
· Participate in the implementation and testing of PeopleSoft Financials
and/or HCM modules.
· Support testing and validation of data warehouse and business
intelligence solutions, including Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle
Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA).
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, test
plans, and test cases.
· Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance
testing.
· Identify, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.
· Assist in the analysis of project requirements to ensure testability
and quality deliverables.
· Provide ongoing support and enhancements to ensure continued system
performance and business value.
Requirements
Minimum
Qualifications/Experience:
Candidates must have experience
in at least one of the following areas:
· Data Warehouse & BI Solutions:
o Experience implementing and testing Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and/or
OBIA.
· Financials:
o Experience implementing and testing PeopleSoft Financials modules
(e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.)
· Human Capital Management (HCM):
o Experience implementing and testing PeopleSoft HCM modules (e.g., Core
HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
· Previous State of Florida Agency experience, especially with PALM or
FLAIR is highly preferred.
· Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and software
testing lifecycle.
· Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks.
· Experience working on large-scale ERP or analytics implementations.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information
Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
