Howard B Thomas Grade School is seeking applicants for a full time special education self-contained instructional classroom teaching position for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This teacher will provide specialized, targeted instruction and supports in both academic and functional areas to eligible students. Skills in direct instruction methods, collaboration with related service providers and staff, and case management skills, including IEP writing, are essential. Experience working with neurodivergent students including those on the Autism Spectrum, Developmental Delays, ADHD, etc. is preferred. This instructional position includes working with students in multiple grade levels (3rd - 5th) and supporting opportunities for integration into the general education setting.
