Career Opportunities: Application Engineer (5763)

Summary:

This role will focus on identifying and delivering technical support and tools to expand the division's various market segment solutions based strategies.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with creation and launch support tools to demonstrate the material properties (i.e. videos, technical web tools, white papers, etc.)
• Provide technical support by partnering with sales staff, and be involved in customer engagements (i.e. trade shows, new product / capability identification, road-mapping etc.)
• Provide recommendations for product improvement, new products, expanded capabilities and partnership or acquisition recommendations.
• Help to identify, develop or source equipment to conduct key product and application characterization testing programs on materials, as well as competitive product benchmarking and analysis in support of various strategic and target markets.
• Aid in the arrangment for external testing to be conducted for product development, standards verification, market / application specific studies of performance and other market needs.
• Participate in development of framework for prioritization, maintaining data and analysis and communication of results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field. May consider relevant work experience in lieu of degree.  
• 2+ years of experience in application development and testing 
• Experience with system integration 
• Travel: Up to 25%
