Job Description

As a Campus Ambassador, you will provide alumni, family, and friends with a bridge back to WVU. You will be sharing WVU’s achievements and working to make the University even better for current and future Mountaineers. Not only will you be an ambassador of WVU, but you’ll also be improving yourself by gaining marketing, relationship-building, and persuasive communications skills along the way! Your main responsibility will be to film videos using the Thankview platform to engage, steward, cultivate, and solicit donors. As a Campus Ambassador, you are on the front line for WVU, representing the student body and administration to the greater part of the WVU family.
The starting rate for each student representative is $15 /hour and the expected workload is approximately 10-15 hours a week. This is a task-based job – you will be given video assignments with deadlines to complete them by. There will be some weeks you will have more work to complete than others, not exceeding the estimated 10-hour expectation. You will be filming videos based on strategy and going off the scripting provided by leadership within the Annual Giving Team.
