Job Description
The Director of Events & In-Venue Experience leads Rally House’s live retail strategy across stadiums, event venues, pop-ups, and specialty activations nationwide. This role owns the planning, financial performance, partner relationships, and operational execution of all in-venue retail. The Director builds scalable programs, partners cross-functionally to ensure consistent execution, and drives revenue growth while enhancing the fan experience.
Responsibilities
Venue Strategy & Business Ownership
- Define and lead Rally House’s in-venue retail strategy, ensuring alignment with revenue growth, brand visibility, and market expansion goals
- Evaluate venue opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions to determine operational readiness, ROI potential, and long-term scalability
- Establish standards for how Rally House operates across venues, ensuring consistency while honoring the unique traditions of each location
Financial Performance & Planning
- Own venue-level P&L performance, including revenue growth, labor productivity, inventory efficiency, and expense control
- Oversee forecasting and budgeting for event product, staffing, and operational needs
- Develop reporting dashboards and performance reviews that guide investment decisions and operational improvements
Operational Execution & Scalability
- Oversee planning and execution of venue activations from pre-event preparation through post-event analysis
- Build scalable playbooks for merchandising, staffing, logistics, inventory flow, and technology use across venues
- Lead the pilot-to-scale process for new venue formats, ensuring successful integration into the broader retail organization
- Align internal teams and external partners around shared goals, timelines, and execution expectations
- Lead post-event reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to refine future execution
Merchandising & Fan Experience
- Partner with buying teams to develop event-specific assortments that reflect local traditions, fan preferences, and revenue opportunities
- Establish standards for fixture layouts, merchandising flow, and in-venue presentation before, during, and after events
- Drive continuous improvement in the in-venue retail experience to maximize conversion, speed, and engagement
Field Leadership & Talent Development
- Partner with District Managers and Regional Directors to ensure venues are staffed with trained, high-performing teams
- Establish training, communication, and execution standards that enable consistent results across markets
- Develop leadership capability within venue teams to support expansion into new locations
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to build scalable operational models across diverse markets and venue types, Deep understanding of retail execution in high-traffic, high-variability environments, Financial and analytical acumen to evaluate performance, forecast demand, and guide investment decisions, Strong relationship leadership with internal partners and external stakeholders, Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect venue operations to enterprise growthQualifications
- 8–12+ years of experience in retail operations, venue retail, or multi-unit leadership
- Proven success leading event, stadium, or temporary retail environments at scale
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and experience building scalable operational programs
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and external partnerships
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, or related field preferred

- Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds
Travel Requirements
- Must be able to travel up to 50%
Pay Range
$125,000.00 - $175,000.00
