Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team at the Bostonian Hotel as a Chief Engineer! If you're passionate about overseeing engineering operations and ensuring the seamless functionality of our hotel infrastructure, this exciting role is for you. You will lead a dedicated team in maintaining all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems while fostering an environment of safety and excellence.

Duties

  • Lead, inspire, and manage the Engineering team to uphold the highest standards of maintenance and repair for all hotel mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Supervise the implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of all equipment.
  • Oversee facility operations, including renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Collaborate directly with other departments to address any maintenance needs and improve overall guest experience.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards while creating a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform in-depth technical assessments to preemptively identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships for outsourced services, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Analyze equipment performance metrics, reporting trends, and suggesting strategic priorities.
  • Lead training initiatives to elevate the technical skills and safety awareness of the engineering staff.
