Citizens Health is recruiting a Revenue Integrity Analyst to work full-time in our Financial Services department.

Location: 100 E College Ave, Colby, Kansas
Position Information: Coordinate payment plans for patients, find resources for insurance or other payment sources, assist patients to understand expected costs for upcoming procedures and other financial related activities
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Pay Range: dependent upon experience.
What you’ll do:
- Interact with clinical department directors to monitor charge capture functions across all clinical areas.
- Evaluate current charging and coding structures and processes in clinical departments to ensure appropriate capture and reporting of revenue and compliance with government and third-party payer requirements.
- Advise service line leaders and their staff on proper usage of charge codes, identifies opportunities for capturing additional revenue in accordance with payer guidelines; develops specifications to modify existing charge capture applications to reduce charge-related claim edits/rejections.
- Provide guidance and communication on correct charge capture, coding and billing processes to clinical departments.
- Train and assist clinical team with revenue integrity functions.
- Stay current on industry best practices, and regulatory changes affecting revenue cycle operations.
- Complete other duties as assigned per organizational need
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration.
- Experience of more than five (5) years in a hospital setting or healthcare industry with a focus on charge integrity, charge reconciliation or charge compliance will be considered in lieu of education.
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including registration, billing, collections, and reimbursement.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across clinical, financial, and technical teams.
