Job Description

Caesars Entertainment is looking for an Engineering Project Admin to join our Corporate Facilities team in Las Vegas, NV.  The Admin will provide project support to the corporate engineering and asset management team in the timely execution and reporting of infrastructure capital projects. The various duties include, but are not limited to, managing project financials and schedules; assisting with budgeting and project tracking; submitting purchase requisitions; providing administrative support as needed; supporting the bidding process from a technical perspective with strategic sourcing and engineering support; assisting with data management for various initiatives; helping with presentations; and performing other duties as may be requested. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project portfolio reporting of schedules, budgets and cashflow 
  • Compile data and prepare reports for tracking projects, executive reviews with properties and presentations 
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly named and organized 
  • Record project costs and commitments accurately and timely 
  • Prepare monthly cost accruals to accurately account for project work completed through coordination with project managers 
  • Review project costs against commitments issued and approved budgets 
  • Proactively identify issues, including critically analyzing project financial trends 
  • Review all invoices and contractor payment applications for accuracy, account coding and project manager approval then process for payment 
  • Handle ordering responsibilities, purchase requests, contract requests and other related duties for department-managed capital projects and professional service engagements 
  • Coordinate project meetings, set appointments, coordinate travel, organize property meetings, distribute enterprise facility communications and provide related support 
  • Liaise with capital assets, accounts payable and sourcing groups as needed 
  • Support the department with purchasing, processing and tracking other operational efforts as necessary such as environmental and regulatory compliance  
  • Support with reviewing routine reports from the utility or work order databases to identify anomalies and to ensure data integrity 
  • Complete other tasks as assigned in support of the department 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years equivalent work experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Accounting Discipline a plus 
  • Prior project coordination experience (preferably in an engineering/facilities/construction environment) 
  • Strong computer skills (MS products; strong Excel skills a must) 
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills 
  • Ability to make decisions and complete assignments with minimal oversight 
  • Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships 
  • Database experience a plus
