As a Hotel Security Guard, your responsibilities will vary based on daily operations and special events within the property. From providing exceptional guest service and managing access control to conducting patrols and monitoring surveillance systems, you are expected to respond with professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment. Your ability to anticipate situations, handle incidents discreetly, and ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property is essential.

  • 7 On and 7 Off schedules:  Morning shifts ( 7 Am to 7 Pm ), Night shifts ( 7 pm to 7 Am )

Responsibilities for Hotel Security Guard

  • Monitor the premises to ensure security
  • Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
  • Address incidents or potential threats quickly
  • Write detailed reports on events and incidents
  • Control access points and check identification
  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
  • Partner with authorities during serious situations

Qualifications for Hotel Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a Manioba valid security license 
  • First aid certification is an asset
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to work at different site locations
