Position Summary:
The Legal & Risk Management Intern will provide support to the Legal and Risk Department through a combination of research, document development, and administrative assistance. This role offers exposure to a broad range of in-house legal functions, including contract management, transactional support, insurance, and licensing activities. The intern will work closely with and report directly to the General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal and regulatory research to support departmental initiatives and projects
- Assist in the drafting, review, and organization of legal documents and internal materials
- Provide support for transactional activities, including contract preparation and tracking
- Assist with ongoing contract management processes, including document maintenance and compliance tracking
- Support insurance and licensing functions, including documentation and renewal tracking
- Help maintain organized records and databases related to legal and risk management activities
- Perform other administrative and project-based tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Legal Studies, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or coursework related to legal, compliance, or risk management functions
- Interest in healthcare law, corporate law, or risk management

Comp Range:
$16.08 - $22.15Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.
