OVERVIEW
The Manager, Market Service Sales is responsible for selling service solutions to customers within their assigned market. The role is designed to serve as a collaborative partner with the Market Sales team to maximize integrated deal opportunities and drive incremental service revenue growth. The incumbent develops internal relationships to facilitate the early introduction of service solutions in opportunity identification and the beginning phases of the sales process. Additionally, the incumbent serves as a collaborator and supportive resource for sales employees across the organization in achieving objectives as it relates to Point of Purchase (POP) support, Warranty Conversions, contract Renewal support and Time & Material (T&M) conversions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This
is a remote, field-based position in USA.
The selected candidate will be required to live in or near the listed State: PA, OH, MA, MD
- Execute strategic plans to achieve or exceed service revenue goals within the assigned market.
- Engage customers early in the sales cycle to explore service solutions and drive Point of Purchase (POP) attachment at order recognition and incremental revenue stages.
- Review and analyze prospective opportunities; coordinate tactical actions to secure and close new service business while collaborating with Account Managers, Regional Business Managers, Service ASMs and RVPs, and Executive Leadership.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Canon service portfolio and related solutions to align offerings with customer needs and maximize Canon One Strategic Business Alliance Agreement (SBAA) opportunities. Deliver compelling customer presentations that support a One Canon approach and facilitate deal closure.
- Participate in Market Sales meetings and other forums to connect with local sales teams; build relationships and collaborate to develop effective partnership strategies.
- Proactively share insights with field sales colleagues and management to enhance understanding of the value of service solutions providing education, participating in national/market forecast calls, ensuring engagement with ASMs, supporting early Point of Purchase (POP) attachment, and offering deal support for Point of Purchase (POP), attachment, or win back opportunities.
- Lead market initiatives to maximize service attachment rates.
- Collaborate with Service Contract Administration on pricing, discounting, and terms and conditions.
- Monitor and maintain accurate win/loss data to provide visibility into service sales attachment performance.
- Collaborate with specialty sales teams and service management to drive incremental revenue growth with targeted portfolio strategies
- Support forecasting accuracy through routine updates and active participation in forecast reviews.
- Efficiently perform administrative responsibilities including expenses, customer quotation requests, and special pricing submissions.
- Work closely with the Service organization to ensure positive customer service experiences and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Group Purchasing organization and IDN contracting knowledge.
- Asset Management or Multi-Vendor program knowledge.
- Ability to assess industry competitors and their related service solutions and market trends
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated PC proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including familiarity with sales tracking software (such as Salesforce and other programs).
- Experience in healthcare economics/finance preferred.
- Strong analytical and business acumen.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Employee is required to maintain a safe driving record and possess a valid state driver’s license.
- 4 year Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree 5 years outside direct sales experience within the medical imaging field.
Pay
Information: $111K base plus target incentive.
