The Clinical Educator assists in the creation and communication of educational programs and instructs others to meet the organization's competency requirements for the staff, accreditation standards, as well as promote an environment of quality care for patients.
- EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
- Required:
- Associate degree
- CBSPD or HSPA certification within one (1) year
- Required:
- EXPERIENCE
- Required:
- Three (3) years of surgical technology or sterile processing experience
- Preferred:
- Two (2) years’ experience as a clinical educator
- Required:
- SPECIAL SKILLS/EQUIPMENT
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and knowledge of adult-learning principles, and the ability to effectively conduct presentations. Must have strong working knowledge of MS Office.
