Job Description:

This Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for researching plant inventory problems, reviewing, and ensuring accurate entry of data for inventory movement and retagging, monitoring in-house inventory, and updating management/customers on material location. This person is responsible for tracking/managing consigned materials, and will be responsible for administrative duties related to managing inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist reviews inventory levels throughout the week and researches and develops solutions for issues that may arise. The Specialist will also work closely with the sales team to ensure quoting, pricing and customer inquires are handled promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics and/or
  • 3+ years of inventory experience in a manufacturing setting
  • 3+ years of experience with cycle counts, physical inventory
  • Experience with ERP or WMS software; SEMS experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • High level of attention to detail and organization skills
