SUMMARY:
Support, administer and maintain our workforce management solutions system; providing instruction and advice to system users; analyzing problems and issues related to the information system software.
This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: Experience and Education must include at least 2 years of current experience in Computer Science Technology and/or a degree with study in the job related area.
RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES:
- Assists and supports clients and other users with system settings and reporting to achieve desired goals.
- Assists in the customer implementation of Payroll, Human Resources and Time & Labor Modules.
- Designs custom report options and/or data extracts using formula based options.
- Develops user materials. Work aids, training support handouts, definitions and recorded online tutorials for the purpose of providing instruction and reference.
- Facilitates meetings and workshops for the purpose of communicating information system capabilities.
- Keeps abreast of system related news and updates and communicates them with other system users.
- Assists in the integration and/or mapping of other system information.
- Participates in the development of system data management plans and procedures in an effort to maximize efficiency.
- Performs a full range of system administration functions for the purpose of controlling systems and attaining maximum utilization and efficiency.
Requirements
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Office Software and database / spreadsheet programs (MS Excel, Word, Access, Adobe)
- Computer Language: HTML, Visual Basic
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Current generation operating systems and platforms
- Ability to effectively communicate relevant system material to others in terms that are easily understandable.
- Principle of data normalization. Ability to routinely gather, collate and/or classify data
- Storage and retrieval methods.
- Flexibility to work with others when required.
- Ability to analyze data utilizing a variety of complex processes.
- Ability to work with widely varied types of data.
- Problem solving required to identify issues and create action plans.
- Attention to detail.
- Maintain confidentiality, procedures, labor and tax laws, and regulations pertaining to assigned programs and functions.
QUALIFICATONS:
- Computer Science Degree and/or Job related experience of at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of Payroll Laws, Time & Labor and / or Human Resources principles a plus!
