Position: Human Resource ASSISTANT



Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt $18.00 starting hourly rate



This is a professional role where an individual performs standard HR Assistant functions like Filing, organization, employee relations, and maintaining compliance with relevant labor laws.



The Ennis Center for Children has been in operation since 1978 and has helped numerous children throughout the state of Michigan! Qualifications (required at time of offer):





  • No degree required but an Associates Degree in related field is preferred.







  • Experience in a child welfare organization is preferred.







  • Satisfactory background clearances.







  • Must possess a valid unrestricted Michigan driver?s license, valid auto insurance and a safe driving record.







  • Must meet all employment eligibility and Ennis hiring requirements at the time of hire.

  • Computer training and experience with an IBM-compatible word processing program is required.







  • Technical experience/knowledge preferred.







  • Must understand that employment is contingent upon adherence to agency personnel policies and procedures, as well as all rules that govern this agency.







  • Meets organizational attendance and punctuality requirements to ensure proper coverage and quality service.







  • Demonstrates active participation in collaborative team accountability.







  • Consistently keeps in confidence all matters related to the organization.

  • Organization and maintaining organization in the file room.
