| Position Summary | The QuEST Project (Quantifying Ecosystem exports across Space and Time) is a multi-institutional research program spans five states (NM, NV, AL, AR, NH) and seven institutions including collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The project will address hydrologic and biogeochemical change in headwater stream networks with the approach to integrate hydrologic modeling with complementary hydrologic and biogeochemical observations within five watersheds across the United States’ cross-continental aridity gradient. The Research Technician/Physical Sciences position will work directly with the Research Scientist 2 and the Faculty Principal investigator. The position will participate in data collection, lab and field work for the QuEST Project grant and on Dr. Alexandra Webster's Transformation Network Program to assist in conducting research on guided transformation and resilience metrics. | Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
