Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the installation and integration of hardware and software systems across various platforms.
- Develop and maintain installation policies, processes, standards, and training documentation for afloat, shore-based, and submarine environments.
- Define installation process requirements and software specifications to support tool development and system implementation.
- Apply and ensure compliance with regulations and policies governing Navy C4I Programs of Record (POR) and non-POR systems under PEO MLB, including NAVWAR Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, and the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual.
- Align advanced planning processes and milestones with installation execution timelines; coordinate and expedite deliverables, reviews, and approvals.
- Maintain and update financial spreadsheets, graphics, and briefing materials; respond to financial data calls and coordinate installation schedules with financial stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in U.S. Navy modernization planning and installation execution.
- Experience with SPAWAR PEO Integrated Database Environment Repository (SPIDER), NDE, or similar online workflow/database systems.
- Strong knowledge of Navy Modernization Processes (NMP), PEO MLB, and NAVWAR installation procedures, including modernization and sustainment scheduling, program budgeting, and execution.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant work experience.
Clearance Requirements
Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment. The pay range for this role is: $80,000-110,000 USD per year (San Diego)
