About the Role
Holland Roofing is hiring Roofer Helpers to support our Commercial Roofing Production crews. This is a physically demanding, outdoor construction role working on active commercial job sites. Roofer Helpers work as part of a crew building commercial roofs from the ground up.
This position is best suited for individuals with construction or labor experience or those who are physically capable and prepared for full-day manual work in changing weather conditions.
Work Location & Travel Expectations
- This role does not report to a fixed location.
- Employees report directly to assigned job sites, which change as projects are completed.
- Job sites are located across Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati (OH), Dayton (OH), and Indiana.
- Reliable personal transportation is required to reach assigned job sites.
- Out-of-town travel is required at times:
- Company vehicle provided
- Hotel and meals provided by the company
- Weekend work and overtime may be required based on project needs.

Physical & Work Requirements (Read Carefully)
This is a labor-intensive construction position. Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry 30–50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Work on rooftops at heights
- Climb ladders and access elevated work areas
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for long periods
- Work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and other weather conditions
- Work 8–12 hour shifts, including early mornings
Job Responsibilities
- Carry materials and tools from ground level to the roof
- Assist with job site setup and cleanup
- Support installation of insulation and roofing materials
- Measure and cut materials as directed
- Follow all safety rules, including PPE and fall protection
- Assist foremen and leadmen with daily tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe job site
Qualifications
- Construction or labor experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to travel and work weekends as needed
- Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work
