About the Role

Holland Roofing is hiring Roofer Helpers to support our Commercial Roofing Production crews. This is a physically demanding, outdoor construction role working on active commercial job sites. Roofer Helpers work as part of a crew building commercial roofs from the ground up.

This position is best suited for individuals with construction or labor experience or those who are physically capable and prepared for full-day manual work in changing weather conditions.

Work Location & Travel Expectations

• This role does not report to a fixed location.
• Employees report directly to assigned job sites, which change as projects are completed.
• Job sites are located across Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati (OH), Dayton (OH), and Indiana.
• Reliable personal transportation is required to reach assigned job sites.
• Out-of-town travel is required at times:
• Company vehicle provided
• Hotel and meals provided by the company
• Weekend work and overtime may be required based on project needs.

Physical & Work Requirements (Read Carefully)

This is a labor-intensive construction position. Candidates must be able to:

• Lift and carry 30–50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
• Work on rooftops at heights
• Climb ladders and access elevated work areas
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, standing, and walking for long periods
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and other weather conditions
• Work 8–12 hour shifts, including early mornings

Job Responsibilities

• Carry materials and tools from ground level to the roof
• Assist with job site setup and cleanup
• Support installation of insulation and roofing materials
• Measure and cut materials as directed
• Follow all safety rules, including PPE and fall protection
• Assist foremen and leadmen with daily tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe job site

Qualifications

• Construction or labor experience preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends as needed
• Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor work
