SPN Networks, a Managed Services Provider based in Santa Fe Springs, CA, is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Tier 1 Support Technician with an emphasis on onsite and field technician work. Position Overview

  • Provide first-level technical support to clients via phone, email, chat, and ticketing.
  • Serve as the onsite technician for workstation setups, equipment installations, and minor hardware repairs.
  • Troubleshoot common issues including connectivity, password resets, printers, malware cleanup, and workstation problems.
  • Perform Tier 1 tasks in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (account setup, resets, permissions, license changes).
  • Document all work accurately and follow established SOPs to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and maintain clear communication with clients.

Candidate Qualifications

  • 1+ year of professional help desk or technician support experience
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Mac, Microsoft Office, and common business applications
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace user administration
  • Strong communication skills and a professional customer service demeanor
  • Reliable, organize, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong task prioritization and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb an 8-foot ladder, and user basic hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an MSP setting, supporting multiple clients and environments
  • MS-900, AZ-900, Network+ Certifications
